ICONOGRAPHY ī-kə-ˈnä-grə-fē [noun] The use of images or symbols to portray a subject, movement or ideal.
Architecture must view a project through a variety of lenses. Each of the following sections will pair with a corresponding icon. The icon indicates the “lens” central to the design.
The architect’s job is to compile lenses to form a project’s narrative. It has been my pursuit to view architecture’s practice through as many lenses as possible, with the belief that this pursuit will allow me to build architectural narratives that contain the necessary elements to form a discourse between subject and space.
